misty mountains far away, layer upon layer of blue.
the famous Taos painter, Bill Rane once said to me, Use every shade of blue.
so, to break writer's block, and even painter's block (Ralph!)--
use every shade of blue.

Now the day I got this post I had just opened a tin of blue paint and added some to a canvas is that not something amazing. You are so right of course we all need to have colour in our lives whether it is blues green or a mix of both.

Blue is one my top three favourite colours! As for favourite shade...I think it would have to be turquoise or phthalo blue.
